1800 Bar None

The status bar shows "javascript: void (null);" I have tried in recent versions of Firefox and IE. I am using Windows XP. The "Add Content", "Change Appearance" and "Other Options" button also does nothing when you click on them.

I had two computers with the same problem. On my AMD machine with IE7, the problem disappeared when I uninstalled Spybot and deleted all the entries in my hosts file which had Spybot. On my Intel machine with IE7 and Firefox 2.0, without success. I suspect Spybot registry change on that computer, and I am not competent to modify the registry. If you have Spybot or similar, you can try what I did. (If you edit the hosts file, you'll need to edit the attributes of "read only" if Notepad can edit it. It is in the System32 \ drivers \ etc. Make sure to register without extension. "txt" extension.) I changed my iGoogle on the Intel machine. Good Luck. In all, a very frustrating experience.

Addendum to the previous answer: The problem seems to be in my Security Suite, Zone Alarm. Once I reset the "Privacy" ad blocking so that "facilitation," the full functionality was restored to My Yahoo in IE7 and Firefox 2.0. If you have the feature in your anti-adware software anti-virus or a separate ad-blocker, you can reconfigure it and see what happens. For now, I'll rely on my browser based ad-blocking. Good Luck.
