I am a 49 year old female looking to start a business for small boats in my area. How do I get a low interest loan to small businesses. My credit is not good either

I would follow the advice of Sandi, but I would also add that there are many specialized loan programs (women, minorities, retraining, disability) may be your SBA or even your local bank will know.

Keep in mind that most SBA loans are designed to do good in the community, which means you'll be employing local workers. Most SBA loans are not for personal enrichment - which means that in your business plan, you must show how the local population, you will be hiring.

Go to your local library and ask a research librarian. He / She will be able to show you the programs that are available in your city.
