Eliminate Credit Card Debt legally, is there a way? I hear on the radio: if u have over $ 10,000.00 in credit card debt, that u can not legally remove them, is this possible and how?
Ask lenders agree to remove the items from your credit file in their payment. I recommend getting an agreement by the agency credit repair, for example this one - freecreditreport.hotusa.org
Yes, you can legally eliminate your credit card debts by paying your bills. For some it is too radical to accept.
Do not get me wrong, they are not going to forgive thousands of dollars of debt for nothing. They will expect you to accept an extended payment plan or declare bankruptcy if they see you in Court. The ads are correct, there are legal ways to get out of debt, but there is no guarantee that it will be easy or cheap, or come without some sort of penalty. There is no magic wand that will eliminate the debt.
These ads are probably the debt settlement companies. Most are complete scams. At best, they allow all your accounts go 90 days late. Then offer lowball setttlements under threat, you file bankruptcy. Not only that trash your credit, credit cards no longer refuse to play and will immediately sue you. The settlement company will not help the prosecution.
Worse, they just take your money and do absolutely nothing. In a few months, the phones will be disconnected.
It is most likely to settle debts. These firms deliberately allow your default account to negotiate settlements to 50%. It's a risky move and not all creditors will play this game ... the answer might be to serve you papers and you take him to court.
Do not fall for the ads, but if you can call and try to reduce the debt yourself. Ask for a lower rate or try to tell them that you will pay xx amount of dollars.
Listen to Dave Ramsey.
You can eliminate these debts through bankruptcy.
Good Luck.
