MarketplaceClose Invoice Finance Quickbooks Premier for manufacturing issues for users QB? I'm changing computer systems and will be using QB for 2007. My question is: I'm in customer bills that have opened since 2006, is it better to enter w / customers or an opening balance to invoices prior to their opening balance sheet . If I put the bills in W / parts that are inventoried, do I increase my level of stocks so that these bills can take away and not mess up my account? Also, I have invoices for customers that are the financial costs of bills, how can we go about putting this in QB so that the account is all the current customers and update their balances at the end when I close out of 2006 my old system?
Any tips to help others, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much for your help and answer! I take the bills, but not taking inventory form. Make an inventory item is not a party - change the description so you know what it is. Now you have a real invoice to the original date which will not result in income for the year - you can see if a client needs information. Take the total financial costs to a particular customer and does not charge for lump sum - same thing with the date of entry. The entire amount in the accounts receivable should be recorded that way - you will not manually enter a figure in the accounts receivable, but let the program do it for you when you enter invoices. Now, there's also a chance that you can import all or part of this information in the format QB. Search this - you can also open or form more than one company so you can practice on one and not mess up the final system. Posted on February 23, 2010.
