Debt Anonymous

Debt AnonymousDebtors Anonymous is a good way to deal with debt?

I was looking for solutions to my credit card debt. I watched everything that companies negotiated settlement companies debt consolidation who claim to be nonprofit, so I ran into Debtors Anonymous and I was wondering if their methods are effective or will I have problems even after their program.

I would like to get both positive and negative impacts on Debtors Anonymous, so please let me know your experience.

Or if anyone has any other suggestions let me know.

Thank you.

Depending on your situation, you can have a number of ways to work your way out.

I'll tell you two things that are true for almost all situations:

1) You need to stop spending more than you.
2) The bankruptcy is probably not a good option for you.

With regard to taking care of your current problem, if your credit is still in good shape, but you are simply overwhelmed, then debt consolidation or debt negotiation would be good options for you. If your credit is shot, and most of your accounts are, or will soon be six months late, the settlement of debts, then is probably your best option.

Whatever method you choose, you'll probably need to fix your credit, either in transit or after. If you have a mortgage, then you will need to consider options to mitigate loan. Be careful here, because there are many sharks in the industry.

I'm not familiar with Debtors Anonymous, but I expect they are similar to Gamblers Anonymous, which simply provides advice, rather than direct solutions to your problems.

See below for a better suggestion, that can help any questions you have raised. Good luck!

I wrote a review of a book used in some debtors Anonymous not so long ago, I love the book and the journal.

The statements of expenditure, expenditure plans and repayment plans recommended in DA are a great idea. Do they not help you.

But ...

The real strength of DA is that you meet people who do what you do and providing mutual support to get solvent. If you can not do without it, so it very well - some people can. Other people will benefit. You should be able to understand what you are good after a few meetings.

It is my understanding that this organization, whereas good deal of psychological problems of people with problems of control spending of debt ... Al-Anon as with alcoholics.
==================
One option is to enter a management plan for the debt. Contact your local Red Cross for a referral to the local Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS). They can negotiate reduced interest and payments. They ask you to stop using all credit cards and cut. Your credit report will be updated "enrolled in debt management." This does not affect your credit, but it may be difficult to obtain new credit while you are enrolled in their program .... so do not use this service if you anticipate applying for a new apartment, car loan or mortgage anytime soon, as you would probably have refused while you are enrolled in the program CCCS debt management ... This program may be particularly beneficial for people with debt problems because it forces them to stop using debt.

If a program is approved as CCCS credit counseling can be good, you should be aware that these programs are financed by the credit card industry and this can create an obvious conflict of interest in the advice they give you. I advise not to use CCCS if you strongly suffering or have already completed by default on most of your credit cards .... If this is the case, then you better negotiate directly with your creditors. You may be able to settle in the 25% - 50% off if your cards are already d.
