How do I get a lot of attention to a single mother with 2 children aged 5 and 6 and in school and how children's interests now. There are many a year since I had family allowances and at one time was to get the DSS about 15 years, not just wondering how I was told that it was more a person could get a job so that the rent is paid and no tax on the council. It does not seem fair that when I had to get it, it was difficult as it seems too easy now, any help Thanks.

You get free prescriptions and dentists and free school meals. The way the system works now is that tax credits are there to make it more financially rewarding to return to work, but if you win something like £ 20.00 more per week, not just that you pay on school meals, etc.. The government will not force single parents with children under 11 to find work. I think it is bcoz he has not played for us as a country we have a load of children who are separated from their parents. However, they give them plenty of help and advice and possibly training who wish to take a job.
