Events FIBA Europe - Basketball Accessories 2009 FIBA Europe is also responsible for the appointment of international referees for basketball games. The next major events in basketball FIBA Europe will take place in April 2009 are female Euroleague 2009 Final Four April 3 to April 5, 2009, 2009 Women's European Cup Final on April 2 to April 9, 2009 and EuroCollege 2009 Final Four championship from April 24 to April 26, 2009.
One of the biggest events of the FIBA Europe Women EuroBasket 2009 competition to be held in Latvia from June 7 to June 20, 2009. 14 nations playing in this great event with the 2 winners of the additional qualifying round (ADR), which were divided into 4 groups, consisting of 4 teams each. These groups will play the preliminary round games to be held in Liepaja and Valmiera. Group A includes the first qualification of the ADR and the Czech Republic, Spain and the Slovak Republic. Group B consists of Greece, Latvia, Poland and Hungary, with the group C of Lithuania, Russia, Turkey and Serbia. The 4 candidates for the final Group D are Belarus, France and Israel and the second qualifier from the ADR. ADR will be held between Bosnia, Finland, Great Britain and Romans and will be held between 4 and 19 January 2009.
FIBA Europe will also hold a number of other events in July 2009, which comprise less than 19 World Championship Men's U18 European Championship Women Division A, which will be held from July 2 to July 12 2009 Sweden U18 European Championship Women Division B held to 2-12 in July 2009 in Eilat, Israel, U20 European Championship Women Division A 9-19 July 2009 to Gdansk, Poland U20 European Championship Women Division B 7-15 July 2009 in Ohrid, FYROM and U18 European Championship Women Division C 13-19 July 2009 in Malta, Malta.
