Can I add my husband to my car if the title is not on the car loan? I could not add to my husband's car loan because of his bad credit history, but I would like to add the car title is this possible? We live in Kansas. Thank you.
If you have not already transferred ownership to your name, the bank may let you. You'd have to call them and explain that you want the song to be in both and the name of your husband. Banks in general and as people have mentioned as the owner are also on the loan, so I make no guarantees.
You should be able to ask your lender, but because they do not release the lien when you reapply for a new title in the name of your husband.
Not until you pay. The title is held by the people who gave you the loan ..... they are leinholders. If he was not on the paperwork, then leinholders and DMV will not allow.
