I do not understand the question. Ask yourself if they sell information or are you indicating that they do?

I do not think it is ethically correct for Protection Act and if they actually do that you could pursue.

Technically, each mortgage company or bank will share some of your information to third parties in limited cause (s) when you apply for a loan with them. However, they can not simply sell your personal information to any third party for the money. Please talk to your lawyer and sue them under the Privacy Act.

Also, please help us to understand that you're guessing this or that is an effect that you share with us because if it is an event (very unlikely) must be treated seriously.
