I am a loan officer licensed in IL. I helped some people with these. A program of lease is usually the seller. You enter into a contract or land contract for deed. Here's how it works: You both signed a legal agreement to rent the house for a specific price for a specified period (usually one year). After this year, you organize your own funding and "buy" the house of the owner a market price pre-determined (It will be included in the original contract.)
