Rent To Own TexasTexas Rental Recovery own procedure?

What are the laws of Texas regarding repossession of a mobile home that is not paid for ... Is a rent to own? How long did you give notice before repossession? Send a letter enough to have the right to repossess the house?

They are tenants. You evict them like any other tenant. You do not exclude or something like that.

The certified letter gives you the right to file the eviction, you can not take possession for a couple more weeks.

You could put in a lot of problems if you do not follow the correct procedures here. I am sure that sending a letter does not resume. You'd better contact a lawyer who is very familiar with the repossession and what steps you should take. It will be money well spent.

Since this is a lease-purchase and not an owner financing rules are different. It is really just an eviction notice. You must first give them a 3-day pay or cancel the notice. After 3 days, if you still have not received money from them, you can then file eviction in your county courthouse. You can not expel them by force, the sheriff would have to do.
