For decades, professionals skilled Indians have been migrating to the Gulf in search of better paying jobs. In fact, the Gulf states house nearly five million Indian workers. They are distributed throughout the range of career options. Oil & gas, construction, hospitality and nursing and medical care are the job opportunities the most popular for those who migrate to the Gulf. Thus, thousands of Indian professionals migrated to the Gulf in search of well paying jobs in these industries. While most of them settle in blue collar jobs, well above the line jobs are also absorb many Indians today. Thus, the Gulf countries are the favorite because they provide a good standard of living with a well paid job.

In fact, in a recent survey conducted by HSBC Expat Explorer has revealed that the UAE is the second best place in the world to migrate to. It comes only after Singapore. Currently the Gulf States offer good jobs coupled with extraordinary lifestyle, higher wages and lower taxes. Thus, it becomes the first choice of Indian migrants who seek to find gainful employment in their field of expertise. The possibilities here are vast and absorbing skilled and talented professionals with open arms. Whether the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the opportunities are huge and each state has its own lures for attracting talent. They all have their own special attraction for different reasons, but they all offer plenty of well-paying jobs to those seeking to migrate.

The United Arab Emirates - UAE including Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain, has a large expatriate population. It would be wrong to say that the expatriate population here exceeds the local. In fact, 90% of professionals in this field are from foreign countries. Thus, routes here are immense. Of all the emirates, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the hottest destinations of employment for obvious reasons. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, is a fast developing sector Tahta LSO accounts for about 60% of GDP in the UAE. It offers employment opportunities in major sectors of real estate and oil and gas, construction, education, information technology and health care. There are several well-paying jobs at stake in these industries in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai, on the other hand, is a widely popular destination not only for tourism but also as a career destination. It offers a unique lifestyle and is one of the fastest population growth in the world because of the high number of expatriate professionals who are moving to Dubai for lucrative jobs in Dubai. There is a plethora of possibilities employment in the banking and finance, engineering, construction, management, tourism, media, education and telecommunications and IT sectors in Dubai. The lifestyle in Dubai is very upscale and it is also relatively on the state of openness.

Although Dubai has a popularity recently, Saudi Arabia has been enjoying preferential treatment by professionals for years. It was the most preferred career destination for expats looking to find high-paying jobs in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia offers a lot of good paying jobs in sectors such as high education, oil and the private sector. The only thing that acts as a cushion for Saudi Arabia is its restrictive and conservative lifestyles, as opposed to Dubai. It is an alcohol free state where expatriates live in compounds. If someone is willing to live in these restrictions, Saudi Arabia offers a hug.
