Stop Paying Rent

I lived in my apt over 3 years in Queens, New York and I've never been late with the rent, what happens if I just stop paying? assuming that I have nowhere to go? but I continue to work simply decide to stop paying rent?

You receive a letter embarrassing to your door telling you about your date.Then court if you do not have a good reason you have no money for rent then you will be expelled put on the street, a $ OUT.

You would be evicted and sued for back rent, late fees, court costs and attorney fees. The owner and / or his lawyer can then garnish your wages, levy bank accounts, seize back the IRS and place liens on private property, you may now or in the future.

The decision of expulsion will remain on your credit record 10 years (20 years if the owner renews the trial) ... making it almost impossible to rent elsewhere.

The thng that could happen is that you get expelled from the same apartment as anyone else.

You probably want to get deported after 30-60 days late.
